KASKO PARTNERS WITH VIVIUM TO LAUNCH FULLY DIGITAL BIKE INSURANCE IN BELGIUM

  • Vivium, a member of the P&V Group, turned to the InsurTech provider to build an omni-channel and bilingual insurance product, a first for KASKO in the Belgian market
  • Since launching the product has won DECAVI’s Mobility Innovation Prize with this product

 

KASKO, the London InsurTech providing the fastest and most flexible platform for insurance incumbents and startups to digitalise and scale their product offering, partnered with Vivium, a member of cooperative insurance P&V Group, to build a comprehensive bike insurance product for the bilingual market. The collaboration with Vivium is KASKO’s first in the Belgian market.

 

In just over three months, KASKO undertook the project for Vivium, which includes the full customer journey from campaign marketing to product purchasing, customer portal for policy details and submitting for First Notice of Loss (FNOL). KASKO configured two web apps, a customer portal, and FNOL, offering a wide functionality. Vivium has since won DECAVI’s Mobility Innovation Prize with this product.

 

The bike insurance product is sold directly to consumers, but tied to agents and brokers, who create an offer, which is then sent to the end customer for review and payment. Starting at €8 per month, it provides cover against theft, material damage and assistance as standard. It works on a monthly subscription basis and can be cancelled at any time. The product is available to customers in both Dutch and French.
