Ferreira joins UiPath during a period of strong growth and rapid expansion
Robotic process automation (RPA) market leader UiPath is set to embark on a new chapter, as Bruno Ferreira joins the firm as Regional Vice President for UK & Ireland. Bringing with him 20+ years of experience in the technology sector, Ferreira will help the firm to continue its exponential growth.
In the UK, Ferreira will drive forward UiPath’s Automation First initiative. This champions one robot for every person, free and open RPA training and collaboration, and enabling software robots to learn new skills through AI and machine learning. He will also help ensure that UiPath remains a market leader in equality and diversity among its workforce, maintaining its reputation as one of the best places to work in the UK and Ireland. The company was recently awarded second best place to work with the brightest future, ranking above companies like Salesforce and Google, in Comparably’s latest study.
In addition, Ferreira will ensure that the UK & Ireland arm of UiPath maintains a customer-first mindset across its operations, developing strong client relationships and advising on best-practice RPA solutions.
He joins from software giant SAP, where, as Chief Revenue Office in France, Ferreira was responsible for a number of different lines of business. He served clients around the EMEA and Latin America regions in a variety of industries, ranging from high-tech to professional services and oil & gas to retail. Having gained additional experience at numerous technology giants – including Oracle and IDC – Ferreira is well-placed to help grow UiPath’s UKI operation.
“The real opportunity for the digital workforce goes beyond executing the same work faster and cheaper, now it’s time to help our customers to scale their organisations accelerating human achievement with value and meaning.” comments Bruno Ferreira, Regional Vice President for UK & Ireland, UiPath.
Since it was founded in 2015, UiPath has automated millions of repetitive and mind-numbing tasks for businesses, allowing staff to concentrate on tasks that require creative thinking and improve customer, and employee experience.
