The partnership with Amazon Pay will offer lastminute.com customers a seamless payment experience reinforcing the group’s mission to be the most innovative and inspiring travel company committed to enriching the lives of travellers. The latest development will offer customers the most secure and trusted way to make payments, leaving them with nothing to think about but enjoying their next holiday.
Following a series of partnership announcements, lastminute.com is continuing to broaden its offering with the mission to make travel as enjoyable and fuss-free as possible. The first of its kind partnership with Amazon Pay will enable around 40 million monthly users across lastminute.com websites in UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain to easily buy wherever they are, however they like to shop by using the credentials already stored in their Amazon accounts.
With more than 50% of lastminute.com’s traffic coming from a mobile device, it’s more important than ever that checkouts are mobile-optimized, enabling customers to complete transactions as quickly as possible, across any device.
Having just celebrated its 20th anniversary, the partnership is also an opportunity for lastminute.com to reach even more customers globally, with over 300+ million active Amazon accounts worldwide and Amazon Pay being used by more than 33 million consumers globally, the brand is set to spread its pink spirit far and wide.
